Place of Love and Light originated in 2020 under the vision of Founder, Asha Sims.  Asha is a leading clinician in the field of mental health and wellness and has over 25 years of experience in the human service field in all sectors including schools, community, hospitals, prisons/jails.  Asha has a strong drive to empower her community. Her past endeavors have been focused on, educating and building  communities we live in with knowledge about health and wellness. Asha is the owner, CEO, of Ashakti Wellness & Yoga PLLC, a for profit business that provides holistic wellness services including counseling, wellness, and fitness utilizing complementary alternative  and integrative approaches to healing.  A Place of Love and Light is where her vision of reaching the masses to bring a little LOVE and LIGHT to the community!
